Netzwerk intends to buy Brockhagen archive building

For almost eight years now, Netzwerk Apostolische Geschichte e.V. has been renting the building of the Brockhagen archive from the New Apostolic Church of North Rhine-Westphalia, or West Germany. During this time, the network has grown tremendously – from 22 members at the beginning of 2012 to around 140 members at present. The association’s collection of books and materials has also grown steadily.

Thus, in 2019, considerations began in the network to purchase the archive building by the association in order to be able to permanently maintain the collection and the seminar facilities on site. District Apostle Rainer Storck accompanied these considerations on the part of the New Apostolic Church and declared his willingness to sell the building to the network. A digital member survey in May 2020 led to the result that a clear majority of the network members also supported this path and also wanted to support it through financial contributions.

After discussions and coordination with the responsible church authorities, the network has received an offer to purchase the building in Brockhagen for the purchase price of 150,000 euros plus incidental purchase costs. The board of the network would like to take this opportunity to permanently preserve the distinctive building in Brockhagen, its collection and the possibilities it offers to the association.

Therefore, we invite all who have the opportunity to participate in the purchase of the building with a donation! In this way, together we can bring this unique, neutral and open place of history into the future! Every donation, whether one-time or recurring, helps to make this project a reality. All donations are tax deductible.
