Spring Fest planned at the Brockhagen Archive!

We are pleased to announce the first change to our event program for the first half of 2026! Thanks to funding from the German Foundation for Civic Engagement and Volunteering (DSEE), we are able to invite you to a Spring Fest at the Brockhagen Archive on May 23, 2026.

This festival also coincides with the 77th anniversary of the proclamation of the German Basic Law. Its main purpose is to provide opportunities for discussion and encounters and to inform people about the work of the network and the archive. The festival is also intended to honor the work of the many volunteers involved with the archive.

The following program is planned:

  • 4:00 p.m. Welcome and keynote address (Mathias Eberle): “Church history, state history: 77 years of the Basic Law, Article 140, and a New Apostolic contribution to religious freedom.”
  • 4:15 p.m. Food, drinks, and fellowship in and in front of the archive building
  • 5:00 p.m. Open singing: Sacred songs in spring with Gabi Weinert and the archive choir
  • 6:30 p.m. Closing

Friends of the network, neighbors of the archive, and all interested parties are invited! Participation is free of charge, of course. However, donations to maintain the archive are very welcome.
