Since November 2009, i.e. for over 16 years, the Apostolic History Network has been operating a German-language wiki on church history. Often, when specific topics related to the Apostolics are searched for via search engines, interested parties end up on this page, which can also be accessed directly from the Internet at https://www.apwiki.de.
Overall, the system is seen as a unique and valuable resource for the history of the Apostolic Church and is also cited in some places. In recent years, we have received repeated feedback and suggestions for improvement from many readers, which have then been implemented by individual authors in the wiki.
Now, following a decision by the board of Netzwerk Apostolische Geschichte e.V., the system has undergone a technical overhaul. On the one hand, this has resulted in visual improvements—the system looks more appealing to today’s viewing habits and invites users to read and edit. On the other hand, the underlying technology has also been updated to the latest standards in order to avoid potential security issues.
We invite all interested parties to test the new system, read articles, and feel free to contribute by writing – because many articles from previous years could now use a content update!
