James Hatley Frere
James Hatley Frere ( * 1779; + 08. Dezember 1866 ) war ein englischer Schriftsteller und Teilnehmer der Albury-Konferenzen.

Biografie
James Hatley Frere war der sechste Sohn von John Frere und Jane Hookham, Tochter und Erbin von John Hookham von London. Er heiratete am 15. Juni 1809 Merian Martin mit der er fünf Söhne bekam.
1814 gab Jame Hatley Frere den „A combined view of the prophecies of Daniel, Ezra, and St. John “ (Gesamtüberblick der Weissagungen Daniels´s, Esra´s und Johannes) heraus, ein Buch über Prophezeiungen aus der Bibel, welches für die Entstehung der katholisch-apostolischen Bewegung entscheidend war.
Er war bereits mit Henry Drummond bekannt bevor er 1824 Edward Irving kennen lernte. Frere nahm auf Edward Irving mit seinen Studien zur biblischen Prophetie einen erheblichen Einfluss. Später wurde Frere Teilnehmer der Albury-Konferenzen.
Frere nahm an den Albury-Konferenzen teil, wurde aber nicht Mitglied der Katholisch-apostolischen Gemeinden.
Er starb in der Residenz seines dritten Sohnes, Reverend John Alexander Frere, im Pfarrhaus Shillington, Bedfordshire.
